Welcome to the Official Website of The Keytars wedding band Lancashire. If you are here then you've found the website of one of the hardest working wedding bands in Lancashire. The Keytars wedding band was formed back in late 2009 when Chris and Paul met Andy Hall (that rhymes!). Chris and Paul go back 25 years together with their music, starting a high energy rock and pop party band called Paradox when they were 15 at school in 1995.
They gigged together on and off until they finally landed a contract for Thomson holidays (now TUI) in 2008 in a function band duo called Silhouette. This took them off to Thomson's first ever Sensatori resort in Crete for two seasons. Finding Andy added a rock edge and comedy to their act that creates a mix of fun, entertaining and impressive wedding entertainment.

Services
We choose our songs carefully to hopefully please a wide selection of tastes. Weddings are a huge mix of ages, music tastes, so we try to play the best wedding party songs from most genres. 80's, rock and roll, 60s and modern pop songs. If you have a specific song you would like us to play live we will do our best to learn it if possible.
DJ Song requests. If you have any specific song requests for us to DJ, you will need to inform us at least 2 weeks prior to your event. Setting up our equipment. We require at least an hour to set up and sound check our equipment. Please bear in mind that your evening reception room will need to be empty when we are setting up.
We can also include a Spotify DJ'ing service at a small surcharge for before, in-between and after our sets. Requests are welcome and as long as your venue has wifi, it's no problem. Please let us know if your venue does not have wifi and we will organise an alternative. We find this a good option for a couple of reason.
Chris and Paul have been working together in the music business for 25 years in 2020 and have performed around 1500 gigs all over the U.K. and Europe. From residencies abroad working for Thomson Holidays, to restaurants and bars in the U.K., they really do know their stuff and are sure to make your event a special one.

I recently hired The Keytars for a charity Fundraiser in aid of a babyloss charity 4louis. The band was amazing, they got all 200 guests up on the dancefloor, ive received nothing but good comments from everybody. Communication was first class right from the very beginning. Thanks so much guys.

I booked The Keytars for a special birthday at Blackpool Cricket Club just before we went into the first Covid lockdown. I wasn’t disappointed. Nothing was too much trouble. They worked closely with me to establish a playlist of my choice and most importantly, they were brilliant musicians. They arrived well before they needed to in order to set their equipment up and didn’t seem in a hurry to leave at the end of the night. Best party band ever!! We booked The Keytars without even seeing them, as so many people recommended them online, and they were fantastic!! Absolutely loved it!! We danced all night! Songs are great, they are super nice and approachable, they even got myself (bride) and my bridesmaids involved in a couple of songs 😂🙈 (we don’t know how to sing or play the guitar) but everyone loved the atmosphere they brought to our wedding party! Would 100% recommend them! 😊

We hired the Keytars for our wedding evening reception and they were great! Nothing was too much trouble and they set everything up seamlessly. All the guests commented on how good they were and we were super happy we chose them to be part of our big day. I highly recommend Paul and the gang for any of your entertainment needs!
