Sometimes there's nothing better than a change in the home or workspace environment. Sometimes it's out of necessity and at other times it's just about putting your own mark on your home. From prioritising the attention required to a given window or door through to deciding the finished aesthetic and feel, to finally living in an improved environment, this all can be an extremely satisfying process.

For 30 0r so years state of the art yet traditionally made timber windows, entrance doors, internal doors and garden doors as well as period solid panel shutters etc. have been leaving our London and Kent workshops to grace your homes, offices, clubs, restaurants and palaces. As of now though we're offering our high end product from make to installation to a wider market.
We don't ask customers for testimonials/reviews though we do get them, much appreciated I'm sure. We (and I mean 'we') get the most pleasure from the emails customers send us when we've completed a project because they seem more spontaneous and to you possibly more authentic - they are in their completeness.
Traditionally Made Wooden Sliding Sash Box Windows, Double Glazed, Draught Proof and Secured by Design. We make all our windows in our south London joinery probably not too far from you. We don't usually work outside south London unless on a special commission so we like to consider ourselves as your local and responsible provider.
Bespoke period wooden solid panel window shutters provide for a charming period window cover with an extra layer of security. We make our shutters in poplar with douglas fir framing and traditional raised floating panels with ovolo/ogee molding trim detail. Alternatively our Shaker style shutters offer up a modern feel sometimes resonating better with modern interiors.
Older in design than the sash window the wooden casement is a side or top hinged/opening window originating in the Tudor period. As the box sash window started to dominate period facades casements were confined to provincial cottages though found a place where Victorian and Georgian window apertures were particularly small.

We got a lot of different quotes to replace an old UPVC window in our house with a traditional wooden sash, and they varied massively. But Max's quote was easily one of the most affordable yet his knowledge and skill obviously surpassed anyone else we spoke to. Max's passion for his job is obvious which means we loved working with him. The window is beautiful and we'd almost replace the rest of the windows in our house just to work with him again :)

There is no doubt in my mind that traditional wooden box sash windows are the only correct solution for Victorian and Edwardian houses. Everything else just looks wrong including the UPVC lookalike types (if it ain’t wood… it ain’t good).
I had replaced all my windows myself 32 years ago (I’m reasonably good at woodwork) and although they were still in a repairable state I decided to have the 3 bay windows and one side window replaced -, after all 30 years for windows is a good innings in anyone’s book. I obtained surveys/quotations from 4 companies that operate in my area – most of
