Hi! I'm John Robertson or 'JR' to my friends and associates. My clients call on JR-Photos for a service which is innovative, dependable and has a meticulous eye for detail. Photography is both my lifelong craft and passion. Amongst many awards, my proudest achievement is having been twice voted UK Press Photographer Of The Year.
I see photography as a continuous journey, constantly developing new styles and techniques. From humble beginnings as a local newspaper photographer, I have been a regular contributor for the last 25 years to The Guardian, The Telegraph and many other national and international newspapers. Alongside photojournalism, my work includes both still-image and video shoots for commercial, corporate and charitable projects.

I've been commissioning John for more years than either us of would care to own up to. In all those years, however last minute the assignment might have been, he has consistantly produced brilliant work with great style and with good humour.
