Treecreeper Arborists
I never intended to be a tree surgeon - It's a job I got into by accident and have enjoyed immensely ever since. I began by working for another small local tree surgery company, where I gained my first qualifications - Basic chainsaw use, followed by a climbing and aerial rescue certificate. I have always loved the challenge of modern tree surgery and particularly enjoy emergency work.

I used to be part of a callout team covering Gloucestershire's roads which involved going out at all hours of the day and night in all weather. My experience in the industry has given me the skills and knowledge to cope with a wide variety of different situations.
Services
Treecreeper Arborists are dedicated to providing our customers with a top quality service at competitive rates. With over 10 years experience, we are able to provide a range of services including all aspects of tree surgery and hedge care. We are fully insured for all tree and garden work and pride ourselves on our extremely high standards of work.
Many trees are planted with the best intentions, but eventually become too big, too dense or in some cases too dangerous to be left unattended. Removing a tree is always a last resort. A skilled and experienced Arborist can carry out various works to your trees, which can often achieve your desired effect while maintaining the tree's natural appearance.
With over 10 years experience of dealing with storm damaged trees, you can rest assured that if you need us in an emergency we are trained, fully equipped and highly experienced. Our staff have extensive experience and skill, not only when dealing with the authorities (Highways Agency, Police etc) but also working closely with the individuals involved.
Hedges come in a wide variety of shapes, sizes and species providing privacy, security, stock proof boundaries and a wealth of habitat for wildlife. However, without regular care hedges can quickly lose their shape and grow out of control. Treecreeper Arborists can provide a range of hedge care services, including ongoing management plans to take all of the stress out of maintaining your hedge.
Caring for trees is an important part of maintaining our landscape. As part of this role, Treecreeper Arborists can also offer a range of countryside management services. Many of these traditional skills, particularly hedge laying, complement the arboricultural side of our work. We have carried out specific training through Royal Agricultural College, Wiltshire College Lackham and Worcestershire County Council.

We had a forest-sized willow overhanging our cartshed, and feared for its stability in a storm. We had been advised to have it cmpletely removed, but we regarded it as a key element in the landscape. Tom assessed its condition, noted that although hollow it was vigourously adding strength around its circumference, and he recommended reshaping and reducing its canopy. We are delighted to still have a healthy and elegant tree, with a greatly reduced risk of storm damage.
Tom achieves, with one or two men and climbing gear, results that some companies would only contemplate if equiped with cherry

I've used Treecreeper both on a private basis and doing work for two parish councils I work for, and found them to be very thorough, tidy and efficient. The only problem is that they seem to be getting busier and busier, which I suppose is a very good sign!
