The Albany guest house in the historic city of Bath has achieved a reputation for friendly hospitality in a warm, welcoming atmosphere, with many of our guests returning time and time again to enjoy the personal and unpretentious service we offer. Our Three Star Quality status is reflected in the quality of our accommodation, but not our prices.

The Albany is ideally placed to enjoy the delights of Bath, with the Royal Crescent and Royal Victoria Park just a stone's throw away. The city centre, Roman Baths, Abbey, Pump Room, Thermae Bath Spa, cinemas, Theatre and restaurants are just a few minutes level walk.

Our home is set close to the city centre just a 5 minute walk on level ground and offers six guest rooms. The house is late Victorian and is over one hundred years old and whilst we aim to meet the needs of all our guests there are some period features which might make access difficult for people with limited mobility.

Breakfast Report

We offer a delicious, traditional English breakfast, served in our inviting dining room, where guests can help themselves to a choice of cereals or muesli, fruit and yoghurt, with fruit juice, followed by farm eggs cooked the way you like them - fried, poached, scrambled or boiled, grilled bacon, hand-made pork sausages from our local butcher, grilled tomatoes, sauteed mushrooms and light and crispy fried bread.

Fantastic location, no car needed once there! Twin room was small but very well thought out and seemed to have plenty of space. The beds are large and we had an ensuite shower room and toilet. Room absolutely spotless. Breakfast was lovely. Would definitely stay here again.

I visited the Albany with my sister and had a lovely stay the rooms were lovely and clean and the couple that run it were so lovely and friendly and the breakfast was one of the best I have had in a band b for a long time I just wish I hadn't been so unwell the whole weekend if your going to bath I would highly recommend it as it's so close to everything

Good location, friendly family run business. Clean and well kept - a pleasurable stay. Hot water was a minor challenge but easily remedied (I think it was just switching on a switch)
