Design For Manufacture is our foundation to successful manufacture of prototype components engineered to replicate future series production cast geometry, material and mechanical requirements. Our foundry supports production of components where high cast and mechanical integrity, surface finish quality is imperative predominantly for sports-car, luxury vehicle, or defence equipment markets.
Our engineering team supports your upfront design for manufacture consultancy with unrivalled experience gained from successfully producing high integrity casting components destined for critical high-performance engine, vehicle and defence applications. Extensive continual research and development undertaking both internally and with joint technical partners to employ the latest innovations in casting and material technologies.
We are uniquely positioned as the only UK foundry specialising in producing technically challenging thin walled sand castings in all aluminum alloys and a wide range of specialist iron and steel grades.
Our integrated foundry facilities are configured to support you with upfront casting MAGMASOFT engineering and design support, rapid prototype production intent castings manufactured by the latest foundry 3D tool-less sand printing additive technology.Scheduled low volume production of up to 5000 units can be manufactured in our purpose-built automated series foundry for components typically up to 2 metres in size.

Repeatable and consistent defect free castings is achieved by comprehensive technical process control and in house investment into the most advanced CT scanning, digital radiograph and CMM laser technology offering cast integrity and dimensional assurance.
Finecast Foundry ensures full traceability of process parameters to validate the Composition, Mechanical and Chemical analysis of the various sand media and cast material using our laser spectrographic units.The spectrographic analysis of the melt sample is carried out throughout production to ensure the chemical composition of the cast material conforms to the customer's engineering specification.
