Since our formation in 2008, RH1 Driver Training has had the privilege of teaching hundreds of people how to drive in Redhill, Reigate and throughout East Surrey. Although there have been changes to the practical driving test recently, our training ethos continues to be that of teaching people to drive and not just to pass their driving test.

From the very first lesson, we aim to deliver a vibrant, enthusiastic and fresh approach to learning how to drive. Our philosophy is based on teamwork, honesty and a personally designed training programme for each individual which is both enjoyable and cost effective. We are a driver training company that puts safety first whilst delivering a first-class service.
Services
RH1 Driver Trainers Paul Kisz and Dave Eustace, are both fully qualified DVSA Approved Driving Instructors and have been CRB checked. Dave and Paul have been training drivers in Redhill and the surrounding area for a number of years. Both are licensed and regulated by the DVSA and are experienced in dealing with all types of drivers from complete beginners to pupils who can drive but may just need a refresher lesson.
Conditions on the UK's roads have become ever more challenging. Our approach to driver training is to introduce pupils to situations that they may not necessarily experience on their practical test. Dual carriageways are incorporated into lessons allowing pupils to familiarise themselves with driving at higher speeds.
Within the first two years of passing the driving test, you will be more vulnerable on the road than more experienced drivers. As many as 1 in 5 newly qualified drivers have an accident in the first year, with 17 to 25 year olds facing the highest risk. The aim of the theory test and hazard perception test is to make sure you understand the rules and safety points of driving.
You can send off for your provisional licence three months before your 17th birthday but it does not become valid until then. If you are 16 and in receipt of mobility allowance, you may be able to start learning earlier. In our experience people learn to drive at different rates - after all, no two pupils are the same!
