I'm a portrait photographer and educator specialising in headshot photography, personal branding & family portraits. My photography school, The Photo Academy NI, was created around 5 years ago - I provide a range of photography workshops, both online and in person. These include beginners photography workshops, taking better photos with your smartphone and photography mentoring.

I am a portrait photographer based in Coalisland, Co Tyrone, Northern Ireland. My aim is to make your photography experience as relaxed and enjoyable as possible. Working either at your home, place of work or on location, I will take the fear out of photography. Specialising in headshots, personal branding sessions and family portraits, I have built up years of experience creating timeless, award winning portraits for my clients.

For me, Art is visual therapy for the soul. During the toughest times in my life, I turned to photography to help me process what was happening and to heal the hurt inside. It's all too easy to lose sight of what makes us happy. What fills our heart with joy and to stifle the creative within. I know because that was me.
We keep things nice & simple - sessions involve authentic smiles, movement and lots of interaction. Worrying about getting your photograph taken can be stressful enough for a lot of people so I take all the pressure away. You will leave feeling chilled and full of anticipation of what's to come when you view the final portraits.

Catriona worked with me on a branding package. I rarely have my photo taken and don't feel at ease in front of a camera. Catriona was fantastic; her warm, friendly manner immediately put me at ease. Prior to the session she sent me a questionnaire about the image that I wanted to project in the photos and she reflected my thoughts perfectly in the finished products. Catriona was an excellent teacher. I am a complete novice with no knowledge of digital photography. It all seemed very scary and complicated. Everything about Catriona's service was excellent. I needed photos for the website of my new business. I really appreciated how organised she was. All her correspondence was efficient and the pre photo shoot information was easily accessible and really helpful in giving tips to prepare for the day to make the shoot the best it could be. I chose Divine Photography to take my professional branding shots, I had worked with Catriona when she took beautiful pictures of myself and my daughter so I knew the final photos would be amazing. Catriona captured our wedding on 3rd May 2019, and the photos are amazing. I don't enjoy getting my picture taken, but Catriona made us feel so comfortable that we forgot that we were being photographed. She was so much fun our guests loved her, and we have been asked about her so many times. Her talent is at the next level, and we are totally in love with our wedding photos and delighted she was part of our big day.

Besides being a very nice girl, Catriona is a true talent. I absolutely hate having my photo taken but during our family session with her, she made us all laugh and relax and really, really enjoy it. The end products are absolutely stunning. For the first time, I think ever, I can actually look at a photo of me without wincing and we absolutely love the work that she produced of our kids - I actually shed tears when I first saw them. She knows exactly what works and doesn't just churn out the same old style images of everyone, her work is unique and individual. We cannot recommend her highly enough
