Hi, I am Lauren and for the last 3 years, I have been specialising in newborn baby, family and first birthday photography. My boutique studio, Lauren Shaw Photography, is in Dalry, North Ayrshire and designed to offer a warm, welcoming environment to your baby and the rest of your family. As a dog mummy myself, I like to welcome the whole family to be featured in your portraits.

Services
The best time to photograph a newborn is when they are between 5 and 21 days old, and naturally settle into those sleepy, curly poses we all love. Your newborn photography session takes approximately 3 hours and is completely baby led, so we allow for plenty of time for breaks, feeding and snuggles.
Lauren is fantastic! Brilliant photographer and makes you feel very relaxed during the shoot. Lauren was great with us and our young son during his cake smash and also at mine and my wife's wedding and I wouldn't pick anyone else for any future shoots. We loved our time there. Lauren Shaw is definitely worth a visit, worth the money and time.
Absolutely delighted with Lauren's pictures that she done for us! From doing bump to baby, the photos she done for my maternity shoot were stunning and they are ones I will treasure forever we then had our newborn shoot and she was brilliant especially since my little one wasn't for playing but Lauren was very patient and got us some fantastic photos!
A Session fee is required at the time of booking. This covers full use of my studio including photographic equipment, backgrounds, large prop and outfit collections, time and talent of BA Degree photographer and post production of images. The setup and bespoke cake is included for 1st Birthday Shoots.

We have absolutely loved our newborn photo shoot experience with Lauren. Lauren was so amazing with our brand new baby Skye during the shoot and the images are absolutely perfect. Lauren was so professional and the quality of our new wall art and digital images is exceptional! Cannot recommend her enough.

Took my two children for first day of school photographs and Lauren couldn’t have been more accommodating. She spent lots of time getting different poses of the kids and was very Patient with them both. Great service and will definitely recommend and use again in the future!

My family have been using Lauren Shaw’s photography for years now. Never been let down or disappointed with any product or photo shoot request that we may have had. Very friendly and comfortable environment and always advising what the best products and packages where available at time. We love the acrylic 3D like frames and have a few now round the house. From new born, sitting photo and our 1 year old paint and splash photoshoot. Highly recommended.

We have used Lauren Shaw Photography twice now, a newborn/sibling shoot and a 1st birthday shoot. Both times we were made to feel very welcome, Lauren had everything prepared and following prior discussions had the colour themes and accessories ready that we wished to use. Photographs came out absolutely gorgeous and captured our kids perfectly. Can't wait to return some time in the near future for an updated collection of our family.
