Food here was out of this world, all home cooked & very tasty, one of our party is Gluten intolerant which we informed them of before we arrived and the young lady behind the bar made her a little list of which foods would be ok for her, which was such a lovely attentive touch. We will deffinatly visit here again.

Good service and food was OK. Steak pie was full of tasty lean beef but crust was incredibly hard; in fact too hard to eat. Loads of tasty home made chips too.

Had lunch here on Saturday with the family. I'm from Nottingham and the family live close by. I think we all had a burger and the majority of us enjoyed the lamb which was chunky with a delicious mint and feta mousse, gherkin and salad in a brioche bun, accompanied with fries. Wow so tasty. Wentworth is a stunning village and the pub is well worth a visit. It certainly kept the staff fit having to climb the stairs.

Pick here for Sunday lunch as they had plenty of outdoor space. Excellent meal but was disappointed that no one working for the pub had a mask on. We didn't feel comfortable and probably won't go again.

Good choice of food on the menu and also daily specials on the board. Prices were reasonable, 3 meals and 3 pints for around £50. My husband had the steak and ale pie with thick cut chips, huge portion which defeated even him, his brother had the house burger and I had a chicken burger which was juicy and tender. Worth a visit if you are in the area. The men liked the choice of real ale too.

A very quaint and large old village pub. If you want the feel of a quintessential country pub set amongst beautiful surroundings then this is the place to come!! But expect to pay a slightly higher price for beverages etc.
