The Wm Armstrong Ltd were Established in1927 and we are proud to still be a family run business. Over the years we have built up a wealth of experience and are set up to transport anything, from a single pallet to large sized loads. We were founding members of the Palletforce network and are an industry compliant and accredited business.

Wm Armstrong in Longtown & Glasgow are part of Palletforce, a Pallet Storage and Pallet Distribution Network who have entered into a comprehensive agreement offering the network 100% service levels. As the Palletforce member for North Cumbria, Central Scotland and Southern Scotland, Wm Armstrong can offer Dedicated Pallet Vehicles, Same Day Express Pallet Deliveries/Collections and other services to suit our customers' requirements.
Wm Armstrong offers Warehousing Space of up to 100,000 square feet in the Carlisle and South & Central Scotland areas through our depots at Longtown, Carlisle and Uddingston, Glasgow with additional secure external storage as required. As a member of the Palletforce Network, we have access to Storage Facilities at various locations throughout the UK including Caithness, Burton-on-Trent, Preston, Bristol and Kings Lynn.
As well as Haulage and Transportation, Wm Armstrong offer a national Fork Lift Delivery and Collection service direct to customers' sites using our new Palfinger and Moffett Mounty Fork Lift Trucks, attached to the rear of our trailers. Our Fork Lift Delivery and Collection service reduces the risk of our delivery vehicles getting stuck in muddy conditions or in restricted areas.
