Miller Bros. was founded in 1910 by the late Alfred George Miller, at that time most of Miller Bros.work was in building and decorating, with the occasional funeral being requested by local families. In 1974, Roy Miller and Phil Miller took over with the help of Roy's son, Terry. The Miller family business continued to build a trusted reputation within the Christchurch community over the years which continues to this day.
With such a wide variety of options available, we are able to help you pay a fitting tribute to your loved one. We are highly experienced in accommodating family's requests, so if you have something specific in mind please do not hesitate to ask us. Our fleet consists of a stunning Black Mercedes E-Class series.
We have put together a selection of our cremation services. Due to burials varying so much in price we would ask that you contact us directly where we will be happy to provide you with a tailored quote. Our traditional funeral service ensures your loved one's funeral will be as individual as they are.

This service covers a full range of essentials including the provision of a chauffeur driven hearse and limousine (for up to six people). Collection of cremated remains from the crematorium and liaising with you regarding their future resting place.
When a loved one passes away at home, the first call should be to their GP. A Doctor will attend to confirm that death has occurred, they will then give permission for the deceased to be conveyed to our premises. Irrespective of the time of day or night, please contact us. If the death was expected and a Registered Nurse or Paramedic is present, it is not be necessary for a Doctor to attend.

My mother died in 2018 and my uncle in June 2021. The standard of service I've just received remains as high now as it was 3 years ago. They continue to provide the highly experienced guidance needed at a time when it is often difficult to think clearly. Nothing was too much trouble & everything was planned & organised just as I wished. I could communicate with them easily throughout the whole process and I am left feeling deeply grateful with no regrets whatsoever. Thank you all so much.
