Loch Gorm House is a happy, relaxed home on the shore of Loch Indaal, waiting to offer you a warm welcome. The house has been recently restored to a very high standard and commands stunning views across the bay towards Bowmore. All of the rooms are finished to an extremely high standard. Two rooms are en-suite and one has a private bathroom.

The rooms are priced at 135 per night, inclusive of breakfast. Caledonian MacBrayne operates a ferry service between Kennacraig and Port Ellen or Port Askaig on the island.
The island of Islay is 25 miles (40km) in length and around 20 miles (32km) wide at most. Thanks largely to the Gulf Stream, it has a fairly temperate climate. It is famous for its abundant wildlife, beautiful scenery and its whisky distilleries. There are many golden sandy beaches that rarely have more than a couple of people on them at any one time, making them ideal for getting away from it all.

A very special place. I could just sit and watch the beautiful sea view for hours. Watch out for sea birds, sea eagles, seals and otters. Fiona is a wonderful, friendly host who made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The room and bathroom are gorgeous, and I highly recommend Fiona's haddock for breakfast!

We arrived on Islay for two nights & I was excited about our stay at Loch Gorm House after reading the reviews. The accommodation exceeded our expectations!!
The house is outstandingly beautiful & Fiona was so welcoming & knowledgeable.
We really enjoyed our stay, delicious breakfast with stunning views over the loch. As a couple we have the attitude of never staying in the same place twice but if we ever return to Islay we definitely wouldn't stay anywhere else!!
If your planning a wedding there you need to talk to Fiona about your flowers as she is an extremely gifted florist.

We stayed her our first night and loved it. Fiona has a gorgeous B&B. There is a wonderful room to relax in by a fire. She made us a traditional Scottish breakfast before we left and we were full most of the day. Her property has beautiful water views and is right on the bus line for easy transport.

We arrived on Islay for 2 nights, and honestly can't say enough good things about Loch Gorm House! The B&B is very nice, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the owner, Fiona, is amazing! When we showed up, she immediately offered us tea and coffee, and once we settled in, served us in the beautiful sitting room. Despite the fact that she also runs a florist business as well and was quite busy that day, she made us dinner reservations to ensure we had a great place to eat, and cooked us the most amazing breakfasts we had all trip! I can't recommend this place more highly, Fionna was a fantastic

Loch Gorm House was the most wonderful place I have ever visited. I highly recommend anyone who wants to visit Islay to stay with Fiona at Loch Gorm House. Fiona was an amazing host; kind, helpful and very generous. All the rooms were perfect, comfortable, clean and charming. The breakfast was honestly the best I’ve ever had in my life, eggs were amazing! I wish I could rate this higher than 5 stars, as everything was absolutely perfect. Loch Gorm House is a comfortable, large, traditional home on the sea front. Inside has been decorated beautifully and looks like it belongs in a country magazine. There are 3 bedrooms for guests. Two have perfect sea views; the other looks onto a flower filled courtyard. There is a welcoming sitting room area for guests; again with sea views. There is also a pretty and large front garden. Fiona is a friendly host who cooks up a delicious breakfast. She can recommend places to eat/visit.

Absolutely incredible experience, Fiona was an amazing host as well as an insightful tour guide. We were well looked after and fed like kings (you name it, she has it!). I could not recommended this home more highly - and it was home, it felt like I'd been living here for years. Thank you for everything, Fiona, I will be back!
