Residential landlords have seen several changes affecting them in recent years. In 2016 the wear and tear allowance was replaced with the 'replacement domestic item' relief. When two or more legal persons (Not necessarily an individual) come together in business, a partnership can be setup to share the risk, responsibility and ownership of the business. Was recommended CCA by a friend when I first moved to London from Sydney as a finance contractor. They have been fantastic to deal with from setting up my limited company to closing everything over the last couple years.
