A denture is a removable replacement for missing teeth and adjacent tissues. It is made of acrylic resin, sometimes in combination with various metals. Complete dentures replace all the teeth, while a partial denture fills in the spaces created by missing teeth and prevents other teeth from changing position.
We know that enhancing your smile can make a big difference to your confidence and how you deal with people both at work and in your personal life. If you're unhappy with your smile and would like to take steps to improve it, we can help. To arrange a consultation, contact our practice today to speak with one of our dental team.
It is very important to visit the dentist to be examined before any form of whitening is carried out. This ensures that it is justified and appropriate for each individual case. A quick consultation with one of our experienced cosmetic dentists gives you a professional opinion on what your options are but most importantly gives your dentist the ability to select the most appropriate type of whitening and concentration to avoid any complications.
A dental veneer is used more commonly when the existing tooth is already strong and intact whereas a crown is used when the tooth is weakened e.g. after a large filling or root canal treatment. A crown looks just as good as a veneer and is often made from exactly the same material.

The best way to describe the difference is a veneer covers only the visible area of the tooth to preserve as much natural tooth as possible whereas a crown wraps around and covers the entire tooth to hold it all together. Our cosmetic dentists commonly provide a "hybrid" between a crown and veneer also known as a crown.

Have been a patient here for a 7 years; always found the receptionists helpful and informative and the dentists have been great too. My new dentist here, Dr Ali, was absolutely fantastic. I hate teeth (it's a thing!) and it was the most relaxed I've ever felt in a dentist's chair! He was knowledgable, friendly and really positive about treatment. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend!

I cannot praise this dental practice enough. I have contacted this practice 3 times in this past year of the pandemic with dental problems, I have had 5 star treatment from all the staff. I have been with Clockhouse for approx 20yrs, I highly recommend.

Having suffered with dentist anxiety for years, this is the first place I have found that really supports me and takes this into account. Dr Habib and his team are amazing, kind, patient and very understanding with people who suffer from nerves and dental anxiety. They did an amazing job on my teeth and checked I was OK all the way through the treatment. Cannot recommend them enough.

Went today with my son after he fell off his bike and broke his 2 front teeth. Very pleased with receptionist who was able to give me a private appointment within 3 days of phoning. My nhs dentist offered me one 6 weeks later. Dentist Mr Khan was very helpful, has done a great job remodelling his teeth. Very friendly, efficient service. Definitely recommend this practice.

A bit disappointing as two appointments were cancelled with no advise.
Had to take time off work just to be told that either the system was down or that my appointment disappeared off the system. This was disappointing as had to arrange with work to take time off and then spend money to get an expensive uber to go back to work. Apart from that the dentist and his team were great, always explaining, giving advise and keeping me at ease at all times. Definitely would see the dentist again, but would be worried they will mess up the appointments again.

Recently had an appointment to replace a lost filling. Service can be a little hit and miss and I do find some of the reception staff to be a little abrupt and less than friendly at times but on this occasion got an appointment quickly and was seen with days by Dr Habib who was excellent. Until recently my regular dentist was the only person who I was seen by but this changed and now it is someone different each time. I would prefer continuity with a dentist who knows me however each new dentist has been excellent.

Been here several times and it's fairly poor. Their equipment is often dated and sometimes faulty. The receptionists have made several mistakes with my appointments, one resulted me being de-registered, and another time they had booked a completely different person in - perhaps they should ask for a few more details over the phone so this doesn't happen again. It's a shame, as some of the staff are pleasant and professional, but are let down by a poorly managed business and systems.
