Our treatments range from a simple dental examination to more complex types of treatments such as minimally invasive cosmetic dentistry, implant placement or complex root canal therapy and we are committed to work to the highest possible standards where your comfort and wellbeing is our priority.
Services
Through our partnerships with Regional Area Teams, we provide dental care and oral health advice that are necessary to keep your mouth, teeth and gums healthy. We aim to provide preventative dentistry to help you avoid extensive dental treatments. The NHS tells us how we must charge you for NHS dental services and the amount you pay depends on the treatments you need.
We welcome referrals for your patients who may need additional complex treatments that can be provided by one of our Specialists or dentists with additional skills so that they can have the best possible care for treatments planned by you.
Treatments may range from a root filling or extraction of a tooth to more complex implant placement and restoration, but whatever their treatment plan entails you can be assured that you patient will have the best possible care and we will communicate their patient journey with you throughout.

Unfortunately I didn’t get to see a dentist. I have lived here for over 2 years and now I need treatment.
I didn’t get any further that a very rude receptionist. She told me very dismissively that I have to wait up to 3 years for an NHS place.
So I asked about a private place. Her tone changed immediately and said she’d be able to have me registered in 24hrs. And have an appointment on Monday!
I lost my job due to COVID economies and so my alternative is to wait until I’m in pain when the only option will be extraction.
There is no such thing as NHS choices right now.

Went to North petherton dentist today to pick up new patient forms and was offered a check up there and then from start to finish from reception staff to dentist to dentist assistant they were friendly caring and generally there to help felt at ease and not anxiouse one bit and normally I'm petrafied of dentists. Jon is amazing dentist.

Attended this practice for a 2nd opinion having initially been told by another practice that my toothache would most likely need a root canal/crown despite the x-rays being clear of any problem.
It is so nice to be greeted by a dentist with a personality & a warm caring nature - Thank you so much John Stenson for not only your professionalism but your clear dental knowledge & taking the time to explain everything. Not to mention finding the cause of the problem ,which was caused by a gum infection - So much cheaper and less painful to resolve the issue with corsodyl

My personal experience was great. I had a male dentist which i forgot the name of.
But today i took my 2 year old daughter with me.
We saw a young female dentist. I tried to explain how my daughter had weak teeth from birth. Even before she started solids.
But i was being met with judgment and interrogation! "Whats her diet like? What did she have for breakfast? What did she have for lunch? What do you feed her for dinner?? What does she drink?? - really? No juice?"
Seriously there was no need for that. You STANK of judgment!
Do you not think a mum feels bad enough as it is? I do my best!

I visited North Petherton Dental Practice this morning and received a first class experience.
From reception through to being seen, every part of the process was swift and professional.
I am particularly keen to pay tribute to the dentist who saw me (Max). He greeted me with a confident smile, warm personality and professional demeanour. He made the experience a pleasant one - I actually enjoyed paying a visit to the dentist!!

Never in my life did I ever expect to highly recommend a dentist! All my adult life I have been petrified of going to the dentist, i have always been referred when needing any treatment, now thanks to the amazing kindness and patience of Jon and his colleagues I no longer need to be referred! Please don't ever leave!!

Unrivalled. I have suffered with teeth problems for years, and after some agony last year I chose this dentist as close to work and so glad I did. Jon is fantastic, your treated as a person not a customer, understands nerves and is without question the best dentist I have seen in 30 years. Careful, considerate and explains things to you. I have no hesitation in recommending Jon and his staff, my only despair is I hadn’t found them years ago.
