Services
My beau and I visited Aberdeen from Los Angeles on business and are confessed food and drink snobs. Thanks to online reviews we took a chance on Bistro Verde and wound up dining there every night of our visit it was so phenomenal. The owners are an absolute delight, the seafood as fresh as can be, and the chef is innovative and exciting (the scallop and black pudding special was positively sublime!)

Possibly the best Cullen skink I have ever tasted. There were a few menu items I wanted, went for the platter and wasn't disappointed. Polite service, quiet relaxed atmosphere and reasonable price. Will visit again.

By pure chance we stopped in on the first Wednesday-night-tapas-takeover and it was fantastic. The patatas bravas were the star of the show, crispy on the outside but fluffy on the inside. The marinated olives are a great dish to nibble on throughout the meal but each dish we had was brilliant. We had garlic prawns and calamari too and they were great. Three dishes for fifteen quid is good value for money, eat here on Wednesday and you won't be disappointed.

We were in Aberdeen for a couple of hours and per their advertised opening hours, sought to try out this seemingly good eatery. After knocking and calling repeatedly, we were eventually approached by an extremely rude person I can only assume is the manager or an employee who in a very impolite and hostile manner informed us that the restaurant was not open. Never mind what their own website says… The attitude alone was enough for us to reconsider our decision to spend any money at this establishment. Very rude customer service.

Great small restaurant in city centre. Awesome seafood, and dessert. Service was outstanding as well. Able to squeeze us in last minute. We were flying out the next morning and wanted to have a nice sit down meal before our flight.

Nice seafood restaurant, good selection of seasonal seafood. Good wine card and daily specials. At our last visit the service was not very attentive, not dramatic but noticeable. Would absolutely go again. Sticky toffee pudding was great.

Cosy seafood restaurant that's always good.
Been here for dinner many times and can't say that we've ever had a poor experience.
Staff are friendly and attentive without being over bearing.
Dishes are inventive and delicious. Fish is always fresh and well cooked. The seafood platter (I don't know if they still do it) needs to be seen to be believed!
Needs to be booked in advance due to the size of the restaurant but it's worth it!

Was visiting Aberdeen and a good seafood restaurant, this place had great reviews. I got the 3 course lunch which included a starter, main and dessert. The Cullen skink starter was so flavorful and delicious, best part of my meal. I ordered the seafood platter for an additional £10 and it was alright. Half of my clams and muscles were empty and although they give you plenty I have had better. I got their cheesecake of the day which was peanut butter and that was sooo good. Decent price, if I were to go back I'd definitely try a different main.

Had the hot seafood plate and really enjoyed it. -the mussels where brilliant and nice bread :-)
Had a "local" Brewdog lager, was fine but nothing special.
Left, pherhaps not hungry, but definitely not full; but then I knew that when I ordered a seafood plate...
