I am married to a Swede and some of you might know me by my married name Julia Roterman. In the summer of 2019 I got married by the seaside close to home and then had a garden party to celebrate with all our friends and family. In the months after the wedding all we wanted to do was relax and enjoy married life together. However when winter came we wanted to relive and remember all the amazing memories from our day, so I set about choosing photos from our wedding to go into an album.
Family sessions are another favourite subject matter of mine to photograph and teaching portrait photography was one of my favourite elements when working as a photography tutor. People often comment how relaxed they feel in front of me and my camera with me. I offer outdoors lifestyle, indoors natural light, and also studio portrait sessions.

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Julia on various projects - from photographing people to food to jewellery. She’s such fun to work with, makes everyone feel super comfortable and takes the lead on decisions when I haven’t felt “qualified” enough to make for my product imagery! Julia was the most brilliant wedding photographer! I cannot recommend her enough. The final photos were stunning, capturing all parts of the day. Julia made everyone feel so comfortable and therefore got the most out of all her subjects. Julia is not only a super-talented photographer but also incredibly versatile. I have used Julia for both personal and professional shoots and always had my expectations blown away.
