From the HSE Publication Driving at Work - Managing Work Related Road Safety (see http://www.hse.gov.uk/pubns/indg382.pdf) which deals with the requirements of health and safety law. Have a comprehensive road safety policy as part of your overall Health and Safety Policy which is supported by senior management.
Our trainers will come to your preferred venue at any location in the UK or Republic of Ireland. Most clients choose to use their own premises. If you have multiple branches or offices we can use any that suit you and your drivers. If we are running a theory session, which we would recommend, we need a suitable training room capable of seating the delegates.
Defensive Driving is based on the Police Driving Manual "Roadcraft" which as well as being the basis for Police Traffic Officer training is also seen by many as the bible of the Advanced Driver. Our Part Theory Part Practical one day course aims to give the delegates the basics of the Roadcraft "System of Vehicle Control" which introduces a planned approach to the driving task.
We will retrain - free of charge - any driver involved in a blameworthy accident within 12 months of attending a full one day part theory- part practical Defensive Driver Training Course, providing that any further training recommendations for that driver, that were made at the time of the course, were carried out.
