He was brought up in an accountancy environment as his Father was a Senior Partner in Guild Appleton & Co Chartered Accountants in Liverpool, specialising in small businesses.

This is the best accounting firm I came across. (tried 3 before) They are extremely patient, helpful, they give advices how to save on your taxes (nobody before cared). Very friendly in communication and answered some questions not even related to my tax return. I was also very happy with prices considering the quality and friendliness they provide. Recommended to everybody!

I was given Chris Oakes name by a fellow childminder 4
years ago as I found book keeping very daunting and didn’t know where to begin. I am so glad I did he explained everything I needed to do and sat with me and explained everything to me in simple terms and had so much patience.
He is very friendly and very professional and I would never use anyone else. I would highly recommend Chris to all fellow childminders, he has been a god send I don’t know what mess I would be in without him.
