Whilst every pool is unique, there are a range of pool types which act as a starting point for the final design and build. To keep your pool safe and looking like new there are some things you can do yourself and others where you may need some expert help. Building a swimming pool typically takes 4 - 8 weeks for an outdoor pool or a pool with an enclosure and around 3 - 4 months for an indoor pool that requires housing in a pool building.
Take a look at our easy to read answers to some of the most common misconceptions about designing, building or managing your own swimming pool. Azure have almost 30 years experience in building a wide variety of swimming pools, each with different benefits and characteristics.
To help you decide which type of pool is right for you, we've put together a handy guide which explains the key differences and highlights important things you need to know.Cost effective and quick to install, an above the ground pool is a great choice for tighter budget and shorter timescales. Endless Pools are brilliant if you don't have enough space for a normal swimming pool or want to minimise the cost of buying and running a pool.

Above ground pools are great if you are on a tight budget, a sloping site or simply like the look of an above ground swimming pool. There are many different types of above ground swimming pools, ranging from small and very inexpensive metal framed pools that you can even pick up in places like Costco, to some absolutely beautiful pools, including timber framed pools and steel framed pools.
Endless Pools are brilliant if you don't have enough space for a normal swimming pool or want to minimise the cost of buying and running a pool. It is also great for improving swimming technique and for exercise. Many families like the idea of a swimming pool, but either don't have the space for one or don't have the budget to buy or run one.
To make your pool better for proper swimming as well as a lot more fun, why not add a "Fastlane" swimming propulsion unit, like the units used in Endless Pools, but specially designed for normal swimming pools?
Whether your pool is indoor or outdoor, enclosed or open, unless it is a fairly large pool, probably 36 foot or longer, you may find it difficult to get into a really good swimming rhythm without feeling that you're continually having to turn round. There is a solution that doesn't involve a bigger pool - a "Fastlane" swimming propulsion unit.

We had our hot tub installed a few weeks ago, we had to crane the hot tub over the house and telephone lines, but it all went smoothly and without a hitch.
Alex was great, he got everything up and running and… spent lots of time explaining how to maintain the water. We’ve had a few questions which the team in the office have always been on hand to help with.
I would highly recommend Azure Pools, and am so pleased we decided to go locally where you get a more personal service.

Alex and the team, Bev and Leann have been so helpful and supportive advising me on the installation of my spa especially considering the other works I had going on. They have been a source of knowledge spending a long time educating me and assisting with my project down to the smallest detail, nothing is too much trouble. Delivery on items ordered… for the spa has been excellent and communication at all times -I cannot fault them. There was no hard sell just a great customer experience and excellent advice and guidance throughout enabling me to get the right spa for my needs and tailoring
