Mark Stanley Accountants Ltd was set up in 2004 by Alison Smith. Alison grew up on Teesside, went to University in Leeds, and after working in North Yorkshire, London and The Home Counties has now settled in Consett, County Durham. Alison is ATT qualified, and has over 25 years experience working in accountancy practice.
Whether you are a sole trader, partnership or a limited company we take great care to provide you with the accounting and taxation services you require. We can operate the payroll for your business, ensuring you comply with current legislation. MSA will prepare the VAT returns for your business and submit them to HMRC, via Making Tax Digital, if appropriate.

I decided to change accountants after 20 years with the same accountancy firm. First impression of Alison, professional, knowledgeable & down to earth. Alison is amazing, if your unsure of anything just pick up the phone. I have had more communication with Alison in a few weeks than I have had from my previous accountants over a 20 year period.
