As founder of Ashton House Design, Caroline returned to her West Country roots in the early 90s, having worked for leading interior and fabric designer, Michael Szell. She founded Ashton House Design in 1992, setting out her stall to offer an exemplary interior design service to discerning clients.

He relocated to Devon in 1992 where he joined his wife, Caroline Palk, to establish Ashton House Design. Simon now heads up the team, working from stunning showroom premises in Ashburton.

Our stylish design studio is located in the heart of Ashburton, on the edge of Dartmoor, and centrally located between Exeter and Plymouth. Here we display the very best of our designs and suppliers alongside a comprehensive fabric and wallpaper library. We will invite you in to discuss your project and present our ideas from the comfort of a sofa or two whilst enjoying (as one client put it), one of our "legendary coffees".
We'll be able to identify how and who can best help you with your own particular needs. By arrangement we can then either invite you to our studio or visit you at your home or business address to move things forward. We look forward to hearing from you.
