Quadrant Pharmacy has an experienced, friendly and caring team. Our Pharmacists, available to you without an appointment, are the most accessible healthcare professional. You can choose to speak to them over the counter, or if you prefer, in our private consultation room. At Quadrant Pharmacy we have increased our efficiency by investing in technology, and are the first pharmacy in St Albans to install an automated dispensing robot.
We offer a wide range of Healthcare and Pharmacy services, some you might not expect from your local Pharmacy. Our Pharmacist is a highly trained medical professional and can offer advice and treatment for many minor ailments & minor injuries. A fair number of prescription only medicines are now available privately from this pharmacy without the need for a prescription, including treatments for erectile dysfunction and all travel medicines.
If you feel the issue you wish to complain about can be resolved with us, please contact us and ask to speak to the superintendent pharmacist. Alternatively we also operate a complaints procedure as part of the NHS system of dealing with complaints. Our procedure meets national criteria and our pharmacist can give you further information.
We have a comprehenisve stock of prescription medicines in-store. If for some reason we do not have the prescription items you require, we have the ability to source most items for the next working day. If your GP is participating in the NHS repeat dispensing scheme and is local to this pharmacy, we can provide this service.
We dispense all NHS prescriptions. We keep a comprehensive stock of prescription medicines and use a fast and efficient wholesaler service to enable us to fill all prescriptions promptly. Please hand your prescription in at the pharmacy counter and the dispensary team will prepare your medication. Our pharmacist is always on hand to answer any questions or concerns you may have about any medication you are taking.

An elderly customer of yours told me personally that when she came in to the pharmacy needing a repeat prescription, which hadn't been authorised yet, she was spoken to very rudely and when finally picking up the medication the comment made to her by the pharmacist was 'i hope you've learned your lesson'. I find this behaviour shocking and reprehensible.

I shant be using this pharmacy again. I had 2 switch from the chemist that I was using when corna first started as the pharmacy I was using would not deliver 2 my front door. I wished that I had never switched. Every time I put a prescription in there is always a problem. They also lie to me saying that not all my meds are on my repeat when they are cause I checked with my drs, but last time I ordered my meds they told me that my dr had refused 2 prescribe 1 of my meds when she didnt. It's not just the front line staff they have lied 2 me but so has the female manager. There attuide is not particularly

The older lady behind the counter with the shoulder length dark reddish hair is very aggressive and always seems ready for battle no matter what she is dealing with. Twice in the last month, I've come in to ask for specific products and both times, she's given me an angry retort and then launched into a tirade about how she feels on the topic. Apart from being highly unprofessional, it's also a great way to lose customers, myself and including anyone else who listened when she's reacted to a customer question.
I will never go in the Pharmacy again. What a horrible woman.

Rude staff and lack of knowledge , I have a sty , I asked for a specific eye ointment for sty’s , pharmacist said it wasn’t a sty , gave me some mild eye infection ointment as she claimed it wasn’t a sty. It didn’t work , I spoke to a gp, who confirmed it was a sty and to get the ointment I originally asked for.
You go into this pharmacy and ask for something that doesn’t require a prescription and they question you and change what you require.
Rude staff and they make you waste your time , won’t be going here again.
