You are very welcome to our school website, through your visit I hope you gain a good insight into the life of our school. Holy Trinity is an inclusive learning community striving to meet the needs of everyone. To achieve this we aim to build on the good practice that already exists in the school and to develop new initiatives so that our children receive the best education we can offer them.

As a catholic school we strive to develop each child to their full potential in a community where everyone is valued, nurtured and cherished and where the self esteem and dignity of everyone is promoted. Services
Holy Trinity Primary & Nursery School is a Catholic Maintained School, which strives to provide quality education for children between 3 and 11 years. The school has two contrasting and varied sites. Years 1 to 4 at Forthill Site this site, close to Forthill pleasure grounds, has a rich environmental aspect and boasts a wind turbine to generate electricity, a garden and polytunnel, chicken coop and a rich natural environment.
We in Holy Trinity Nursery & Pre-school centre believe that play is a very effective way of learning in early childhood. It is our aim to plan a varied and well balanced programme of enjoyable activities in which the child is motivated to be active in his/her own learning. Children have a sense of personal worth.
Holy Trinity Student Council is an elected group of KS2 pupils involved in making decisions on a range of aspects of school life. The student council provides a voice for the pupils and gives them a degree of ownership and responsibility for decisions being made within the school. The council meets at intervals throughout the school year.
Holy Trinity Afterschool Club is currently registered to care for 77 children each day. The children are all cared for on the Mill Street site and children are transported from Cornagrade by bus/ supervised taxi. The After School is registered with the Western Health & Social Care Trust. As a registered care provider, we are happy to accept Child Care Vouchers should they be available through your employer.
