We have, as a company been providing independant probate valuations for solicitors and executors over the south of England for nearly 100 years. We will come to the residence, catalogue the contents and supply a formal valuation in a couple of days.
Here at Allen Thwaites, we are always on the look out for quality antiques and items of interest. We will buy single items or large lots. We are interested in silverware, glassware, anything scientific or optical, leather suitcases and large travel trunks. We are looking for old coins and stamp collections, postcards, watches, vintage clothing and militaria.
During a company liquidation, it is often necessary to have an independant stock or equipment valuation. Over the years we have valued pretty much everything from boats to sewing machines and from gold rings to printing equipment. We understand that sometimes in these situations discretion is necessary, therefore we will arrange an out of work hours visit.
