Have used the firm twice for work on the engine of my Disco3. Nice guys and the work appears to be fine, but I was disappointed to find a receipt in the car showing that it had been used to run a personal errand whilst in their care. I've never been to Kentisbeare Post Office, and the receipt, for a cheque pay-in shows the account details too. ...Erm, Blackdown 4x4's account. Why does this stuff happen? Why would the receipt be left in the car? Why is modern service like this? As an old fashioned Englishman I won't go and moan about it, I will just get my car fixed elsewhere. The receipt wasn't

Had not been to this dealer for well over a year and was met with this from the salesman “Have you been here before, are you serious this time?” Had a short test drive in a Range Rover on the Wednesday but wasn’t sure as there was blue smoke coming from the exhaust so returned on the following Saturday to test drive to check this again. Salesman again:- “You can’t keep coming here test driving cars”. No problems - I’ll take my £20,000 elsewhere. If you want a welcoming smile and courteous service then go elsewhere. Avoid.

We bought a a freelander 6 months ago and the service we have received was absolutely fantastic! Not a typical car dealer who keep ringing you saying are you interested in the car! He was absolutely spot on we can not fault the service we have been given. We went back for a service today and they explained everything they would do and it was so nice to have someone’s time so explain what they would do. Our catch was broken on our bonnet and just mentioned and they fixed it absolutely free it was kind of them to do that as they didn’t have to! Just goes to show they how good they are!

Great experience with these guys. Leon was a pleasure to chat to and do a deal with. Very easy going, no pressure. Car was as described, no silly sales garbage, just honest descriptions and chat. 170 mile trip to look at the car and left with it the same day. Very impressed and will go back for my next one!

Bought a Freelander 2 HSE SD4 from them, 360 mile round trip, well worth it. The car was exactly as discussed over the phone and well presented .Very pleased with the whole experience, Leon was very helpful but left you to have a good look at the vehicle with no pressure.
