Services
Skips R Us are developing into one of Northern Ireland's major waste management companies. With a local, well trained and friendly workforce we can provide a complete waste management service to our clients in private, commercial and public sectors. Several of our staff are accredited by WAMITAB in regard to waste management operations.
Wood is shredded, and magnetised to remove small fractions of metal allowing it to be used as fuel for eco-friendly biomass energy production. Cardboard and paper is bailed before being distributed to paper mills who re-process it into new cardboard and paper products.

Plastics are sorted into several different types, each of which is sent to specialist recycling companies who have the facilities to melt, pelletize and re-mould each type of plastic, into new products.Metals separated by types, pure metals and alloys, each is then fragmentised separately, pure metals are sent for reproduction and alloys are sent for the production of new steel.
We have eight skip sizes: 4 yards, 6 yards, 8 yards, 12 yards, 16 yards, 25 yards, 35 yards and 60 yards. The most popular size is the 6 yard skip. Larger skips cost more than smaller skips, but assuming you have enough waste to fill them they work out better value. The best value skip for you depends on the quantity of waste you are disposing of and the amount of space available at your property for putting the skip.
You cannot put hazardous or harmful items into a skip. These include but are not limited to TVs, computer monitors, asbestos, tyres, fluorescent tubes, fridges, paint and paint tins (unless empty), plasterboard, batteries, medical waste, gas cylinders, liquids, solvents, oil, petrol, diesel and explosives.
While ordering your skip is simple, we want to make sure that everything goes as smoothly as possible, saving you from frustrations on the day of delivery and collection. To help you assess whether it's possible for you to make use of a skip on your drive, road, lane or cul-de-sac, check out our access requirement guide.
