This was the first time for us staying on the site, we chose it for its location near Bath but far away enough for peace and quiet. This was our first Christmas away in the Motor Home. The pitch was fully serviced another first with everything working well. We were impressed with the site its layout and what it offered. The staff were excellent extremely helpful and throughout our Christmas break were always available. We really liked the Shower and Toilet facilities giving you your own space and privacy. Plenty of places to go particularly Chew Valley Lake some lovely walks and a really good Cycle

We have recently spent a week at this park with our puppy. The grounds are very tidy but too immaculate to enjoy yourself. It would be nice to see some areas more relaxed, more wild flowers for pollinators etc. We liked the woodland area but it is used very little ,as the majority of campers have dogs and dogs are banned from the area as well as the grass . The dog excercise area is small and dogs have to be on a lead , very difficult to excercise a dog on a lead . Nowhere nearby either .We found all the rules and regulations excessive and patronising. On the plus side toilets and showers very

We had a lovely welcome, then were shown to our pitch by a very helpful and nice Gardener/warden chap.
The pitch was spacious in a nice spot and us having a foreign van with the door on the “wrong side” was fine, “park whichever way round you wish”.
All facilities were superb, no nasty push button showers either !
We found the check in time of 2pm a pain though. Most sites “your out” by 11 so it then makes it harder than usual to go site to site.
The walks are good once you get down a narrow and not so pleasant lane (tight with cars passing ) after which though they are great.

Firstly, this review is our personal thought of our stay, hopefully taken the right way!
We stayed recently during the mini heatwave in June for 6 nights.
The staff are excellent, some of the hardest working I've seen on any site and a credit to the owner. Always helpful, they keep the grounds spotless ....
For those unaware, you cannot pitch your caravan yourself! You have to drop the van in the car park, the guys hook it up to the tractor and take to your pitch. I'm extremely fussy and was concerned when I read they use a mini tractor to park your van ....I needn't have worried! They were

A very well run, adults only campsite, which is managed strictly, but with good reason. Excellent, fully serviced pitches, great individual shower/toilet rooms, beautifully kept gardens, and close to the lake.
The only downsides are the limited laundry and ironing facilities, having to park your car in one of two communal car parks, and the very narrow approach and exit, which only allows width for one vehicle/unit.
But hey, the pros outweigh the cons in abundance.
