Often complimented on my discreet and friendly approach to photography, I work in such a way as to ensure you spend as much time as possible time with your family and guests, while ensuring the vital photographs are all captured. Posed photographs need not be heavily posed, and his photographs all look as relaxed and natural as possible.
The aim is to mix documentary photos of the wedding day with photos that capture every detail, the atmosphere, your family and guests, and also striking stand-out photos you'll treasure forever. With the most important thing being that you remember spending plenty of time with family and friends on your day - not just being led off for photographs.

Services
Coverage from at least 90 mins/ 2hrs before the ceremony (preparation photography of bride / groom / both (see FAQ here) if required), capturing the day in a mixture of casual, candid and more formal styles, photographing the speeches and staying until the first dance has begun in the evening. Expect around 500-700 photographs in the final selection, although there's no limit to the number of images, you'll get every image from my final edit.

Of course, as I photograph an entire wedding day, many styles lend themselves to different times of the day. I photograph details, casual moments, atmospheric shots and a few of the traditional groups.

Ben photographed mine and my wife’s wedding at Leez Priory. He was excellent throughout the whole process, both before the wedding and on the day of. When we received our photos we were surprised by how many he had captured, he blended into the wedding so perfectly we didn’t notice him there.

We just wanted to say a MASSIVE thank you to Lavenham Photographic for everything they did to make our wedding so special and memorable.
They where so brilliant on the day and made us feel so comfortable. We got home from our honeymoon yesterday and the pictures on the usb arrived the same day... perfect timing.

Ben was incredible from the very second he arrived at the venue to the last few shots before he left. He blended in to the crowd which really helped us relaxed, and the formal shots were completed very efficiently.
My wife and I had a specific vision for the day and these were discussed with Ben prior to the wedding via Skype. When it came to the shots of us around the grounds of the venue (on a cold November day), Ben was a trooper and never said no to any of our ideas or wishes, he even wore my wife's fur shawl at one point!
The edited photos were delivered to us in a week and we are blown

We used Ben after a number of my now Husbands family had him at their weddings, he is amazing. Such a fantastic photographer, he fully embraces the way you would like your wedding to be, for us we had a very relaxed wedding without 100's of group photos and he was great at getting everything we want and more, a year and a bit later my wedding photos still bring me so much joy.
I would highly recommend Ben to anyone who wanted to have beautiful photos, you cannot go back and do them again, I have had so many friends disappointed by their photographers, and it is heartbreaking.
