Our dedicated care team of highly qualified and attentive staff provide for the individual needs of our residents. The team consists of an experienced Manager at the helm who is registered with CSCI and qualified to NVQ Level 4 in Health and Social Care, plus additional qualifications. We have Senior Care Assistant's all achieved NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care, and additional qualifications.

Our staffing levels are above legal requirements set out by the National Care Standards Commission. Staff at Howard Court, have certificates in the following courses - Dementia Care, Moving and Handling, Basic Food Hygiene, Adult Abuse, Fire Training, First Aid, Mental Health Act, NVQ Level 2, 3 and 4 in Health and Social Care.
Services
Howard Court has a range of activities and social gatherings, available to everyone. All residents are encouraged to join in our social events; this enables everyone to get to know each other and gives a feeling of belonging to the community. We also have a large sun house and patio to sit in, for us all to relax.
General Practitioners - Residents have a choice of General Practitioners in the area if for any reason they wish to change GP, or if they are out of the area for the current GP they are registered with. District Nurses - are always available for advice or to administer treatment for residents, when needed.
There is provision within Howard Court to provide a day care service for those who wish to remain in their own homes for as long as possible but would find their quality of life, and that of their loved ones, enhanced from some additional personal and social care in an environment that provides stimulation and facilitates independent living.
