Services
Hi, my name is Ros and I am a qualified and accredited Professional Clinical Hypnotherapist. I also hold a diploma in Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) and I am a Smoking Cessation Specialist. I came to hypnotherapy following a 25+ year career working with children, teenagers and families. During those years I worked in schools directly with children, teenagers and families to overcome a vast range of life issues.
Don't worry if you don't see your particular symptom or problem listed below as Hypnotherapy can help with such a wide range of problems, just contact me using the details below to find out how I can help. I work in a private therapy setting in Kingswinford but also see clients from Stourbridge, Hagley, Dudley, Kinver Wolverhampton and elsewhere in the west Midlands.
Having high levels of self-confidence can have huge benefits for all areas of an individual's life (including relationships, career, social life and state of mind) and many people who lack self-confidence aspire to be more confident. The first step is to acknowledge the current level of self-confidence and the cause of low self-confidence, and then find ways to build upon this until confidence becomes a deeply ingrained quality.
Sadness or downswings in mood are normal reactions to life's struggles, setbacks and disappointments. Many people use the word "depression" to explain these kinds of feelings, but depression is much more than just sadness. Some people describe depression as "living in a black hole" or having a feeling of impending doom.
A phobia is an irrational fear, literally a fear without good reason, or a fear of something that may not happen. People with phobias often know their response is irrational, which makes it harder to accept. To some extent, feeling anxious and stressed about a certain situation is a normal part of life and can even improve performance.
