Polite proprietor, lovely comfy rooms and a lovely kitchen with free tea/coffee facilities. There are 2 microwaves and plenty of fridge/freezer and cupboard space to store your own food. Very quiet with low traffic noise and clean ensuite bathrooms with showers. Access to a bath also. I have spent 7 nights here so far and it feels like home. I have just booked another week. Very fair prices and freeview TV in all rooms. BT infinity WiFi access for all guests.

Stayed one night after a days bike ride, Roy was very welcoming and even let me keep my bike in the hallway. The accommodation was clean, warm and comfortable with a fantastic shower in the en suite. Tea, coffee and cooking facilities are available in the first floor kitchen, but Macdonalds just about a mile down the road serviced my breakfast requirements! Would certainly recommend Crittlewood to anyone who wants a basic, no frills stay over.
