We are a team of Chartered and State registered Physiotherapists who between us have a wide range of experience and expertise, including back pain, neck pain, knee pain and headaches. Business quickly expanded and we moved to our new premises in 2006. We are able to offer disabled access throughout the clinic, spacious treatment rooms and a large waiting area as well as providing ample parking facilities on site.
The Clinic has strong links with local G.P's and Consultant's within the NHS and private practice. Whilst we do take clients who have been referred to us via their GP or Hospital Consultant this is not necessary. You are therefore able to make a self referred appointment. Just call us on 01270 763025 and we will be able to give you an immediate appointment.

Bernie, originally from Hertfordshire, trained as a remedial gymnast (sports rehabilitator) at the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff; graduating in 1985. In the same year she did a conversion course in physiotherapy and was accepted into the chartered society of physiotherapy. Since then she also worked in Margate and Kent where she worked in orthopaedics.
Please request this following each appointment or we can provide a receipt following completion of your treatment. We no longer take referrals from Private Health insurance companies but many will allow you to reclaim your treatment cost in full or part upon the production of a receipt. Please check with your insurers before you attend and request a receipt after each session.

Being a return customer. And life being life I some how completely forgot I had an appointment.
Then getting a phone call to tell me I had a missed appointment charge.
First time I new anything about a charge for missing an appointment was the phone call.
Think this is a valid point. Tell people there’s a charge for missing an appointment when they phone to make an appointment.
I work in an industry that doesn’t charge anything if customers don’t make their appointment.

I injured my hamstring on new years day whilst running and Donal treated me over 5 sessions.
I must say that Donal was fantastic the whole way through, he was so good at analysing the issue, very clear on the issue and great on treatment by concentrating on the exact area of issue plus the explanation on next steps were spot on and realistic. Finally, the exercises I were given to do were simple, clear and I only got a few to do and so were achievable.
I cannot thank Donal enough for his excellent work.

First Rate service in all aspects of their services. This is a well run, established operation. The staff are friendly and welcoming and excellent at their jobs.
They can assess and treat / recommend treatment for your condition. I have used them a number of times over many years and have recommended them to my friends.
Modestly pricey if you are paying yourself but you get a speedy appointment then excellent service.

I have been treated on & off for about 18 years by the wonderful Physio's at Sandbach Physiotherapy. Unfortunately i have had a few ailments, starting with my Knee, then Back followed by my hip. Each and every time i have been helped back to fitness by Bernie, Claire & Will. It's their goal to not only get you up & active as soon as possible but also to give you a regime of suitable exercises for you to help yourself and limit the amount of treatment/expenditure in doing so. Over the years i have recommended many of my family & friends who have all been more than satisfied with the level of professional

This is the best place for physiotherapy in Sandbach. All the staff are caring, knowledgeable and professional with a wealth of experience. They provide extremely effective treatment and I can highly recommend Bernie and her team. Bernie kept me mobile until I had time to go through hip replacement surgery, also making sure my post surgery recovery was speedy and complete. I'm so pleased I listened to her advice and agreed to surgery because I'm back to my former active self. Claire now looks after my neck problem with physio and acupuncture, ensuring I'm able to make the most of my new hips! I

I injured my shoulder two months before intending to do The Great North Swim and thought I would have to cancel. However after receiving excellent treatment and advice on rehab exercises I made it to the start line. The professional attitude and practical advice on how to slowly reintroduce the swimming without risking further injury was really appreciated. I can't recommend the team highly enough!
