Smith & Horner originated in Dundee in 1889 as a large department shop and through the decades evolved as a specialist retailer in window blinds, curtains and household linens. I personally call to the customer's house, give advice, measure and fit my carefully-selected range of products. I have over 35 years of experience in the trade, working always to the highest of standards.
Most of my products are manufactured in Scotland and all come with full service and repair back up. We offer an unrivalled door-to-door service, give advice on the best blinds solutions, and measure and fit only the best range of products.
We supply and fit a range of carefully selected blinds, we supply and install roller blinds, vertical blinds, venetian blinds, roman blinds, duette blinds, solar blinds and wood blinds. We are very selective when making any additions to our range ensuring the highest quality of materials and installation.
We supply and fit made-to-measure bay window curtain tracks and bay window curtain poles in Edinburgh and Fife. The Silent Gliss ranges are the most efficient bay window curtain tracks available, they can be factory bent and can cope with very heavy curtains, hand-drawn or corded.
The choice of window treatments for a bay window used to be very limited; however, modern manufacturing methods have given rise to numerous innovative design ideas for dealing with the problems of how to turn the corner with a curtain pole or track, whilst still allowing the curtains to pass freely around the corners.
