Services
Chiropractic is a primary healthcare profession so you don't need a GP referral to consult our clinic. We are a recognized and regulated profession. The General Chiropractic Council is the governing body. Chiropractic is very scientific and concerns itself with joint and body bio mechanic. By normalizing this within the body it allows the body to function properly.
Massage is the manipulation of superficial and deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue using various techniques, to enhance function, aid in the healing process, decrease muscle reflex activity, inhibit motor-neuron excitability promote relaxation and well-being and as a recreational activity.
On reaching the Devon Hotel turn left onto the A379 (this is straight on from A380 and A38). At the next roundabout, take the 2nd exit (right) onto the A379 to Dawlish, Exminster. Then take the 1st right signposted Exminster. Once on this road continue straight ahead. You will pass the Stowey Arms on your left and then Exminster Garage on you right.
You will be asked to provide your contact details, medical history, details about present and past complaints as well as some information about your general health, life style and diet. Dr Kirsten stockman (Chiro) will then take a detailed case history. She will take details of the presenting complaint along with any other information that she feels is relevant to improving your overall health and well being.
At the start, when suffering and symptoms are present, visits to our clinic are kept very close together. From my clinical observations at this stage some patients feel improvements straight away, others feel a difference after a few adjustments and some may experience increased symptoms before they improve.

Kirsten is much more than a chiropractor. She has many skills for assessment and treatment: acute, chronic and preventative. As a marathon runner herself she understands the needs of sports enthusiasts. Any structural pain: go to Kirsten. Want to prevent structural pain: see Kirsten.

I've been treated by Kirsten for about 3 years now and i can honestly say that she is brilliant! Anyone who is wary of what to expect from visiting a chiropractor need not be. you will be totally at ease with her. I've learned that it is so much more than just a bad back than can be treated by a chiropractor. She is in Exminster village so a great location to get to with ample free parking.

An outstanding Chiropractor. Seems to use a number of different techniques that instantly improved my symptoms. A business you can trust and be confident you are treated ethically and professionally. I am so grateful to Dr Blythe for saving my back on a number of occasions.

Very professional and friendly service.
Id tried several different therapists with no luck in helping me with my problems.
Kirsten was extremely thorough and after a few treatments I was feeling so much better.
She gave me exercises and stretches to do in between the times when I saw her.
If you need a Chiropractor to sort you body out give her a call. Its not just necks and backs she treats!

I started going to see Kirsten at Chiropractic Matters about 5 1/2 years ago regarding my ankle I had sprained badly. She helped with the pain and swelling massively and I don't have that many problems with it anymore and if I do have any twinges in my ankle, which is very rare now, I go to Kirsten and she does her magic and I go away very happy and not in pain. After the sprained ankle incident I got seriously ill shortly after seeing her and had to basically learn to walk again as I got a nasty virus. I had 10 attempts of lumber punctures on my back and it left a stress fracture in my spine and

My husband and I have been seeing Kirsten for just over a year. We both have niggling back problems and decided we would give chiropractic treatment a try. Neither of us knew what to expect but we have been amazed at the results and unobtrusive nature of the treatments.
My husband's discomfort was resolved after about 3 or 4 treatments and while my problem was a little more stubborn I can certainly say that the treatments have made the world of difference. Regular (6-8 weekly sessions) keeps my back problems at bay so I can train in the gym to my heart's content! Kirsten's approach is wide and
