Services
Our caravan park in Lancashire was established in 1983 and has always been a family run business. Before they became business owners in Capernwray, the family were locals. In the early 1940s, the family moved to Capernwray as dairy and sheep farmers. Twenty years later, John Wightman acquired ownership of the farm the family had been working and continued the family's farming legacy until 1983, when the caravan park was established.
It isn't something that we usually do, but it is something we consider on a case by case basis. If we did allow you to bring your holiday home onto the park, the cost for a single unit holiday home is approximately 6,000 for the siting and connection plus any delivery charges. We can supply any make or model of new holiday home you have seen elsewhere.
Old Hall Caravan Park's holiday homes in Lancashire, near Lancaster are situated in an area that's carefully laid out to provide privacy and preserve the beauty of the natural surroundings. Old Hall is one of the most peaceful and relaxing caravan sites in the North West of England, being approved by the British Holiday Home Parks Association and the AA, among others.
If you're looking for a peaceful hideaway in the North West, touring pitches can provide exactly that, including the one found here at Old Hall. We offer both daily and seasonal touring pitches to hire. Our touring pitches boast a 5-star certification from Visit England, and approval from the NCC (the National Caravan Council).
We have great opportunities for those with touring caravans and those who are looking for a beautiful holiday home in Lancashire that is equally near the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales. Our caravan park Lancashire is located in the peaceful woodlands of Carnforth, just off the M6 at junction 35.

5 star facilities , 3 star pitches. arrived on Saturday for a week's holiday and was presented with a pitch adjacent to the toilets. Had we stayed there we would have been treated to a direct view of everyone… entering the toilets, not even a partition to protect our and toilets users privacy. There was no mention of this location in any of our phone calls when booking and subsequent payment of the invoice. With only 2 touring pitches available to tourers (all others are seasonal) it was 50/50 which we'd get. After complaining we were told we could move our van to the other pitch on the

We're very sad to be packing up to go home tomorrow. We've had a full month of peace & relaxation. the children have made great use of the play area and had some amazingly imaginative adventures in and around… the stream. The park is kept immaculate and the woodland walks are fab for letting the dogs have a good run. The pitches are fully serviced and gravelled and a good size. The only dislike we've had is being pitched under a very bright light, we as a family love to star gaze and a different pitch would have suited us better. That being said we will definitely be returning.
