After 28 years of service with the RAF Regiment, Greenock man Gordon Sinclair decided upon a career change! Gordon was raised in Greenock attending Ardgowan Primary School and the Greenock Academy. He later moved to Houston, then Johnstone and Paisley, before joining the Royal Air Force in 1985.
He has served at various locations throughout the UK and Europe and has accumulated over 7 years' worth of active service in places such as Northern Ireland, Kuwait, Iraq and Afghanistan.The Greenock Telegraph published an article in 2010 about one of his tours in Helmand Province, Afghanistan where he served with the Gurkhas, 2 Para and the Royal Regiment of Scotland.
