Services
At your initial consultation, your physiotherapist will start by taking a detailed history about your problem. They will also ask a number of questions about your medical history to allow us to tailor treatment appropriately. If you are taking any medication, it may be worthwhile bringing a list with you.
Pilates is a conditioning exercise programme that targets the deep postural muscles of the abdomen and spine. Pilates focuses on building your body's core strength and improving your posture. This is done through a series of low impact strengthening, stretching and conditioning exercises which work the body as a whole.
Here at Perth Physio Clinic, our complementary and holistic therapists offer a range of treatments. Swedish Massage is used to relieve muscle tension and for relaxation. Long gliding strokes in the direction of blood returning to the heart aid circulation and promote lymphatic return. These gentle techniques are good for increasing oxygen levels in the area treated and removing toxins from the surrounding tissues.
