Signature Woodcraft is run by husband and wife team, Stephen and Naomi Gordon. Located in the heart of County Antrim, Northern Ireland, UK, we are surrounded by lush green meadows with nature on our doorstep. We use this beautiful setting to inspire the products that we make.

All our fountain pens are hand crafted in our workshop in Northern Ireland to your specification. Many of our fountain pens can be upgraded to German made Bock nibs that are really worth the investment. Our handcrafted Ambassador Fountain Pen is an exceptionally elegant and high class writing instrumen.

Our luxury ballpoint wooden pens (also known as biro pens) are all hand-turned in Northern Ireland, using both local and exotic materials. Our ballpoint wooden pens are custom made to your requirements and are ideal for birthday gifts, retirement gifts, wedding gifts, thank-you gifts etc. We have both slimline pens and thicker body pens, and the shape of the body can be further customised to suit.
The Dark Hedges Collection is a special edition collection of handmade pens, crafted from genuine Dark Hedges beech wood. This wood was sourced from part of a tree that fell during Storm Doris in 2017. The trees form the famous Dark Hedges, located a short drive away from the Signature Woodcraft workshop.

The shop owner is great, worked with me to get the nib I wanted and the prices for his custom pens are very reasonable! The pen is beautiful, craftsmanship is superb, and the nib and ink flow is amazing. I will be saving my pennies for more custom pens in the future. And it will be worth every cent. Thank you for creating my favorite pen!

The shop owner was wonderful to work with.. helpful, and very responsive to messages. The custom Irish Bog Oak fountain pen (with a fine bock nib, that writes sooooo smooth) I ordered for my husband arrived yesterday and he absolutely loves it! Perfect Father's Day gift!
