Southampton Skip Hire is a friendly family run business that was formed in 1988. The original idea was dreamt up in the mid 80s and a mini skip business was born.

The business started with 1mini skip with a small transit that had no mot initially and was worked part time at first managed in the spare time outside of full time employment. The business grew and now has three lorries and over 150 skips today. Today we are the Premier Company for waste disposal in and around Southampton.

Permit Guidelines Report

If your hired skip is to be kept on a public road or a public grass verge, a Council Road Permit will need to be purchased under local laws (we have to purchase one for you). We provide lights and cones - lights to be positioned on the containers and lit during the hours of darkness and cones to divert the flow of traffic.

Great service. I visited my son at his new hone in Southampton and realised we needed a skip ASAP for the garden make over. I phoned Southampton skip hire on Friday morning and had a skip expertly place on his drive by Friday afternoon. Top job and very impressed.

Used this skip company when helping some friends renovate a house and garden. Had 7 skips in all. They were all exchanged as and when needed and placed as close to the property as humanly possible. Very polite and helpful and would recommend to anyone.

After reading the bad reviews (after i had paid for the skip) i was nervous about the experience i would have however it couldn't have been better. Dropped it off promptly on the day or booking and collected it the day after i called them to tell them it was full.
Great service, would use again.

A totally useless company. They are a one man band who do not care about customers. They have no customer service skills and don't care who they let down. Their staff are rude and abusive. I would NEVER reccomend this Company to anyone. Absolutely pointless in them being in existence. Clearly someone trying to run a business who has no clue on what they are doing. A terrible experience which led to other people being let down on a Bank Holiday weekend. Stay clear of this 'company' at all costs.
