From our inception, we have offered a specialized service, dedicated to the Customs Clearance and onward delivery of perishable/frozen commodities shipped in refrigerated containers. CHD (Forwarding) Ltd are linked to the DEFRA PEACH service and can make applications to the relevant DEFRA offices. We have a thorough knowledge of Port Health requirements and can arrange for the electronic submission of CVEDS & CED, prior to vessel arrival.
CHD (Forwarding) have a dedicated sub contract fleet of 44 tonne plated vehicles, available at all the main UK container ports. Services available include the provision of tipper trailers and side lifters. Over the course of the several years we have built close relationships with our carriers, and this has meant we are now able to offer a tailor-made service meeting our clients specific requirements.
CHD (Forwarding) Ltd offer a dedicated Customs Clearance service, staffed by experienced personnel, available 7 days a week. Our customs clearance department is staffed by experienced personnel with a full working knowledge of tariff quotas, seasonal duty rate changes, and the various valuation methods available to importers.
