Closed circuit television systems have continued to have a very high profile over the past decade, but Allguard, est. 1989, actually started to specialise in this field some 31 years ago. The setting up of high street systems brought CCTV to the forefront and the consensus from the general public is that they feel safer knowing that there is a surveillance system in operation in their own town.
Companies and business' started to realise the value of CCTV as a natural progression to security, and, as an added deterrent to the "would be" trespasser. Allguard took CCTV a stage further by incorporating a monitoring control centre (back in 1990!) working along the same lines as the monitored high street systems into our offices based in then Queenborough, Kent.

Services
For over 25 years Allguard has provided security to thousands of homes and businesses country, and indeed, worldwide. In around 1990 our focus changed from intruder alarms to CCTV with an emphasis on remote monitoring via our own in house control room. From this we have blossomed into one of the leading CCTV remote monitoring stations in the UK.
We offer both homes and businesses the offer of a hire and monitor package. For a small weekly fee we install the system to your specification which is then both maintained and monitored by us. Mainly for home use, this low cost alternative to IP requires very little maintenance but still has the capacity for IP if required.
The cost difference between AHD and Analog is now negligible, cabling is the same so the only choice is really whether to go for IP or AHD. All of our units support the alarm function, however, only the GN/GX/RX units support direct communication with our central monitoring station.
The other units use an email alarm facility, which, as most of you are probably aware, can be a little unreliable so using emails for mission critical applications isn't something we want to do.That said, the average home system wouldn't need to have any alarms on it for normal every day use as you only want recordings but we can incorporate a number of things into our system to improve home automation.
