I am a carpenter and joiner with 30 years' experience, 20 of them spent running my own business in the West Somerset area. I grew up locally and did an apprenticeship in carpentry and joinery, qualifying three years later with City and Guilds Advanced Craft. I am honest, professional and reliable with many repeat customers, and I take pride in my work.
The majority of my work these days is in the West Somerset area, however I have worked much further afield such as for a national firm of shopfitting contractors, and a year spent working in Australia. I have extensive experience in new-build developments, shop refits, restoration on listed buildings, timber frame construction and decking as well as kitchen installation, bedrooms and internal storage, and other bespoke carpentry.

Having qualified in Carpentry and Joinery at City and Guilds Advanced Craft 29 years ago, I now have extensive experience in all aspects of carpentry from new build developments and restorations of listed buildings to creating bespoke bedroom and living room storage and installing kitchens. I am a perfectionist and believe attention to detail, honesty and reliability are vital for a job to run smoothly and to my customers' satisfaction.
