We are 'Yorlocal' waste provider. Owned by North Yorkshire County Council and City of York Council, we employ over 250 members of the local community, manage over half a million tonnes of waste per year and carry out 550,000 trade waste and commercial bin collections in areas such as Scarborough, Whitby, Northallerton, Thirsk, Bedale, Skipton, Harrogate and Leyburn.

I use Yorwaste for their recycling ethos - one of few who recycle food waste as well as glass, card, etc. Always professional - great to work with and great during this pandemic when the business was open and closed a number of times. No hidden costs / charges.

One of the critical aspects to get right when organising large outdoor events is the collection and removal of waste. We used Yorwaste to supply multiple large bins at our recent sold out firework event on Elvington Airfield. I found it very easy working with the Yorwaste team, especially Kevin who was incredibly helpful from planning to completion of the event. The bins were delivered in great condition and collected as arranged. Very professional service and I look forward to working with Yorwaste again on many future events.

Right from the start it was all smooth sailing.
Excellent communication from the beginning and through out , easy collection with the lorry / van pulling up, help in loading it all on and job done.

I would like to thank Arron for making it easy to change our usual waste to all recycled waste now. He listened to what we needed and sorted us with the correct waste bins a lot easier than other companies we have been with in the past. Also with stopping our payments while we we’re closed because of Covid-19. I would definitely recommend Yorwaste.
