Mark Jones Tree Surgery
Mark Jones Tree Surgery is a small family run tree surgery in Kent. Unlike some other firms we do not use contractors but employ a full time professional and dedicated team of tree surgeons. Mark has been qualified in tree surgery for over 20 years and is the first port of call for clients. He is always happy to travel across Kent to give tree surgery quotes and arboricultural advice.

Always on the move you can contact Mark on his mobile or via email as he travels as far-field as Folkestone, Dover, Thanet, Canterbury, Medway and even south London. Jo is based in the office and with a degree in Business Studies is in charge of the day to day running of the business and all the accounting aspects.
Services
Mark Jones tree surgery is based in East Kent and provides tree surgery services across Kent, Sussex and South London. It is a family run business which has been established since 1991. Over the years mark jones tree surgery has built up an excellent reputation for delivering a high standard of tree work and arboriculture care with a long-standing established client base throughout Kent.
If you are looking to plant trees, whatever type or size, we are happy to provide advice, organise, purchase, do the planting and provide aftercare. If your tree has become too large for the area in which it is growing we can reduce the crown size in-order-to preserve it in an attractive shape, more suited to its surroundings.
Reducing a large Ginko Tree in Canterbury Kent. The tree had become very overpowering in the rear garden of this house in Canterbury so tree surgery was needed to reduce the overall size of the tree. The tree was climbed and on the ground we spent alot of time making. The old dead Oak Tree was in Pett Bottom near Canterbury.
A company should have both employers liability and public liability insurance and should be happy to show you. The waste carriers license is issued by the Environment Agency and enable tree surgery companies to take tree waste away legally. Some trees come under a Tree Preservation Order (TPO) and will require permission from you local authority before any work can take place.

Needed a tree taken down. He checked it out, quoted us and the next morning he let us know he was running late, yet still turned up on time. Full safety gear, had a shredder and got the job done, including the stump quickly, safely, with no mess or damage to the garden. Very professional.
