Tim has been restoring and dealing in antique furntiure for more than 30 years. Because of this, he is proficient in identifying periods, woods and fluctations in values whether it be for insurance, resale or probate. Part of Tim's valuation service includes a detailed inventory of furntiture accompanied by a digital library of images (where requested).
Tim has been dealing in period furniture for many years. He had a well established Antiques' Shop in the past and dealt through London antique fairs for 15 years. He has an exacting eye for quality, originality, colour, patination and proportions. He visits many auctions, fairs and dealers throughout the country.
Mahogany and Marquetry Dutch Card Table of particularly good quality and small size, Circa 1750. Acquired for a client with a post restoration saving of 40%. An impressive, low waisted, George III Mahoganny Breakfronted Bookcase - 17' long. This bookcase was discovered in pieces and in unrestored condition.
