Stellan is such an amazing dance teacher! We loved coming to Salsa Souls on a Friday night and learnt a lot about bachata, merengue and salsa dancing. With no previous dance experience, Stellan was really helpful in teaching us steps and we could see that we were progressing each week! Because we liked Stellan so much, we asked him to choreograph our first dance for our wedding, which we had an extremely random idea for! He was more than willing to help us and we loved going for private dance classes with him which really helped us with our final performance. Our wedding guests absolutely loved

I have been coming to Salsa Souls for nearly 1 year and for me it is an amazing place to learn Latin dancing ! The best in Bristol- no doubt!
Stellan and Mo are really welcoming so no one feels embarrassed while being a beginner. Always very attentive and observant, picking up on small details when you make mistakes to help you improve. The standard of teaching is very high!
Also I have met so many nice people and made new friends. The place has a really brilliant positive vibe so every time you leave, you leave full of energy. Stellan's humour also adds loads of additional fun :)
I would highly

Since I started taking salsa dancing lessons with Salsa Souls in Bristol 6months ago I cannot imagine myself not going twice a week inasmuch as it became my biggest hobby. The classes are fun and leaded by excellent and supportive teachers who make sure you learn the basics really well from a beginner level to escalate to an intermediate/advance level with confidence at the same you enjoy it. I particularly love the Friday parties, the atmosphere is simply great.

First I went to Salsa Souls in march this year and I have to admit that since then it has become my biggest addiction. Whenever I am in Bristol I visit Salsa Souls and I always have so much fun! Teachers are real professionals who always adjust the level of classes to the level of participants. Even beginners, who have never had contact with salsa before, can dance after a few lessons and improvers make a very quick progress. I sincerely recommend Sala Souls to all of those who want to learn how to dance or just improve their skills. We always have great fun, great music and just fantastic people

I started going to salsa souls nearly two years ago and I cannot even remember what it was like to not have salsa in my life!
I had never done salsa before and only had a brief history of dancing from school and university so it was quite a new experience. The classes are split into two, the beginners/improvers and intermediate/advanced, and you don't need a partner as everyone dances together. No special shoes are needed to start with, alongside as you don't wear trainers (difficult to turn in!) flats will do just fine. Safe to say I found myself loving every minute. Everyone was so friendly

I first attended Salsa Souls 2 years ago after moving to the city. I had danced a little before, but not regularly, so started off working my way through the beginners syllabus. Stellan and Mo are very friendly and welcoming and the classes are always fun. After a few months (and an assessment) I was ready to move up to the higher class where my technique quickly improved.
The atmosphere at Salsa Souls is very fun and engaging and I have met some wonderful people, many of whom are now some of my closest friends. What Stellan and the Salsa Souls team have created is unlike any other class I've

Right since I started going about 18 months ago, Salsa Souls has offered excellent lessons and a fun, friendly atmosphere. Starting as an absolute beginner, I wasn't sure what to expect, but I felt very welcome and have made some lovely friends thanks to the salsa lessons and parties! I think Stellan has done a brilliant job with recently finding a new (and in my opinion, improved) venue very quickly, without losing any of Salsa Souls' distinctive charm.

I started going to Salsa Souls about 7 months ago and I love it! I had no dance experience when I started and didn't really know what to expect! But the beginner classes give you a nice gentle introduction to Salsa, teaching the basics and the technique and really help you get to grips with the dance! I have now moved up to the improvers class and there is a big jump in difficulty, but the teachers always bear in mind the experience of everyone in the class and make sure everyone understands the steps before moving on. There is a real focus on technique which is brilliant.

Absolutely love the Salsa Souls nights, especially the monthly Friday parties. The freestyle is usually really busy with a good variety of dancing levels. The teaching is also great - Stellan focuses strongly on technique, as well as learning routines, for both leaders and followers, which I think is often neglected in other dance schools. Have made so many great friends and done so many things that I wouldn't have done before I got into dancing - if you're a dancer and you're visiting the city, definitely visit. If you're a beginner, this should be your first point of call.
