Located in the foothills of the Lammermuir Hills, Duns offers todays golfers a true and fair test on a course laid out against most beautiful of Scottish Border backdrops.
A one hour drive from Edinburgh and a little more from Newcastle, Duns is a perfect fit for golfers from both sides of the border.

Nice golf course and staff were great with us. Not playing golf, playing footgolf. Get to see some great golf courses while playing and this one is no exception. Well kept and the greens looked great. Some long fairways. Very peaceful and quiet really enjoyed my time there and will be back. Thanks again to all the staff.

Course was in great condition green's wer fast and great condition only issue I had was the green keeper cutting the grass right up behind us as we wer playing instead of waiting and letting us Finnish the hole... and I fell into what I expect was a footgolf or diskgolf cup hurting my leg on the 10th other than this was a fantastic 18 holes

They hosted a disc golf event at the club course and wow, they really did themselves proud! We even got transport to and from our rounds using golf carts!!!
Some very special club members, great service and a quite mind blowing course layout. The views were amazing and the maintenance on the fairways/greens was very noticeable. It was very fine work indeed. Can't wait to go back.

First the good bits:
We received a pleasant welcome at the clubhouse, picked up our trolleys and were off.
The course is unusual as it has 18 remarkably different holes, and on many of them you haven't a clue where you're going until you reach your ball after your tee shot. Many of the greens had some nasty roll off areas so any shot into the green had to be played to exactly the right place. Getting the ball into the right place off the tee, and accurate shots into the greens provided a great golfing challenge. The views across the countryside towards the Cheviot hills are quite stunning.
