We regularly collect repeat prescriptions from the Wells Road Surgery, Priory Surgery, Wedmore Practice, Birchwood Medical Practice, Crest Family Practice and Merrywood Practice. In addition we provide a free delivery service for those with difficulties getting to the pharmacy. Nominate us as your pharmacy for electronic prescriptions.
This means electronic prescriptions are automatically sent to us, saving you the hassle of collecting prescriptions from you're GP surgery. We offer malaria prophylaxis and a wide range of vaccines necessary for foreign travel at competitive prices. If you have started a new prescription medication for a long term condition and would like to discuss it with our pharmacist the New Medicine Service is a great opportunity.

Services
The electronic prescriptions service allows your GP to easily and securely send your prescriptions electronically to a pharmacy of your choice. If you collect your repeat prescriptions from your GP you will not have to visit your GP practice to pick up your paper prescription. Instead, your GP will send it electronically to the place you choose, saving you time.
A medicines use review (MUR) is an opportunity for you to sit down with our pharmacist and discuss medications you are currently taking. If you are regularly taking four or more prescription medications and think you may benefit simply ask our pharmacist to book an appointment. If our pharmacist thinks you would benefit from an MUR, she may also invite you to one.
If you need vaccines for foreign travel please book an appointment with our pharmacist 6-8 weeks before your departure. Before your appointment please check the fit for travel website so you have some ideas about the health issues you will need to consider for your chosen destination. If you are traveling to an area where malaria is common you may require malaria prophylaxis.
The New Medicine Service (NMS) is a free NHS service. It provides you with the opportunity to sit down with our pharmacist and discuss a new prescription medication. During the appointment our pharmacist will discuss how to take the new medication, ways in which you can fit the treatment round your lifestyle, potential side effects and any concerns you may have.

I rarely write reviews but today I went to see the pharmacist for some advice on a skin rash, and she did not want to give me her opinion as she was too busy. The receptionnis at the GP practice suggested I should ask a chemist first but the lady was annoyed and not happy I did not get a referral. Not my fault really! It would have taken her 2 minutes to let me know whether it was worth getting an appointment from the GP or a cream over the counter could sort it! I've been going to this chemist for years, and today was extremely upsetting and disappointing.

Been using this chemist for many years. The pharmacist is always so friendly and helpful. I have taken my elderly relatives in for their flu jabs over the years. Much kindness has been received and always treated with respect. The pharmacist works every day from dawn to dusk. Always see her behind the dispensing area beavering away. Her assistants are also top drawer. Will never go anywhere else. Parking can be difficult, but the service makes up for that.

I've been to this pharmacy a couple of times now and each time I am told they dont stock the items I need. The staff a seem uninterested in helping the customer, as if we are burdensome to them.
If you need ibuprofen then great go here (or to coop next door for half the price) but if you've got any other requitement then look elsewhere.

Real shame as we used to use this chemist to buy pukka tea, refillable washing conditioner and liquid, as well as greetings cards, however the service my better half received today from the chemist was v poor. She was given a new (electronic) prescription by the doctor and went in to collect, unfortunately there was an old prescription in the system that she hadn't collected as her treatment had changed, and she was unaware it was there, there was no asking by the staff what the prescription was for and she paid and left. Upon returning home she discovered it wasn't the new prescription, and went

Mrs Gebrathsadke has been my local Chemist for over 30 years. She has been a support to 4 generations of my family. Knowledgeable, supportive and kind, her family run chemist is exactly what you would hope to have in a local pharmacy. The range of natural products in store is now exceptional. Silvermans offers so much to our community, I can’t thank them enough.

A really useful neighbourhood chemist run by a couple of knowledgeable pharmacists. They also stock a useful range of personal hygiene bits with a strong emphasis on green and ethical products, as well as a few cards.
Good at practicing social distancing - including Perspex between pharmacists and customers, and a 1 in 1 out policy.

Avoid this place. The owner seems to hate people in general. I thought it was me but having discussed her with other locals, it seems I am not the only one who finds her surly, miserable and dishonest.
If you have got out of bed on the right side, are feeling inexplicably happy and have an urge to help out random strangers, then pop in there for five minutes and she will fix you right up.

Silverman Chemist is a dispensing chemist which also sells pharmacy only and GSL items. Staff are helpful and efficient and welcome any healthcare related queries you may have. You can also purchase a number of non-health related items, from birthday cards, wrapping paper and soapy gift sets to the chemist's own range of tea and freshly ground coffee. Indeed, you can even sit inside the joint and enjoy your beverage, or pay a little less and have it on the go. An extra star for the innovative coffee idea :)
